Sharing Topic for Friday, October 15

The sharing topic for this week is "your favorite stuffed animal". Sharing is a voluntary activity which your child can choose to do or not. It will be fun to see the family of animals that comes to school tomorrow.

Dates to Remember: October 2010

  • 10/4. Scrip monthly über-orders due. Gift cards available for *all* retailers offering scrip once a month; Fred Meyers and New Seasons available every week. [ order form ]
  • 10/5-10/7. Middle and Upper School Camp-Outs.
  • 10/8. NO SCHOOL (Statewide Inservice Day).
  • 10/11. NO SCHOOL (Staff Retreat).
  • 10/12, 6:30 - 8:30 pm. TFT meeting, including leadership elections and TFT grants. All are welcome, and childcare is available. Note meeting change to 2nd Tuesday of each month.
  • 10/14, 8:35 - 9:00 am. TFT Coffee Klatch, in Common Space outside kitchen and art room. Tea, coffee, sugary carbohydrates, and most importantly, community.
  • 10/18, 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Trillium Board meeting. All are welcome.
  • 10/20, 9:15 am. Field trip to attend Northwest Childrens' Theater production of "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day."
  • 10/27, 9:30 am. Field trip to attend OMSI Omnimax movie, "Hubble."

Lice in School

They're back!

Lice, that is. And the little buggers have been found in upper school, middle school, and lower school classes, no one is immune.
