• 12/5, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Geek the Halls winter craft fair at Trillium. Joint fundraiser for Trillium and PDX Browncoats, plus food drive for Oregon Food Bank.
  
• 12/10, 6:00 - 8:00 pm. K-1-2 Performance Night!
• 12/12, 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Brian's Class Party!
• 12/13, 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Trillium Board meeting; all are welcome.
• 12/14, 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Together for Trillium (TFT) meeting. All are welcome, and childcare is available.
• 12/17. Last day of classes in 2010.
• 12/20 - 12/31. NO SCHOOL (Winter Break).

Pets, and Klatch and Thanksgiving! (Oh, my.)

Reminders for the next week:

1. Tomorrow, Friday 11/19, Sharing Time will be about pets. Students can bring photos of their pets, or the pet itself if a family member can stay, and take it home immediately afterward. No Doggie Daycare in Brian's class; sorry. :)
   
2. Tomorrow at 8:30 am is also the TFT Coffee Klatch. Coffee, tea and treats will be available in the Art Room (next door to the kitchen) until about 9:30; parents and younger sibs are welcome. Some easy projects will be available, to help out our teachers while we chat. Stop by for a cup before Sharing, then grab a refill afterward, if you're staying.
3. No school all next week, for Thanksgiving Break. A class directory is available in each student's folder, to help with play date arrangement and the like.
   

Pet day on Friday, and lice!

Someone in our room was found with lice over the weekend. So please check your child's head. We will be doing a head check for everyone tomorrow at school. The school policy is that anyone with live lice or nits will be sent home. If you have questions about lice let me know.


Also this coming Friday, November 19 is going to be pet day in our class. We will have sharing first thing in the morning. Pets can be brought from home if you are willing to stay with your pet and then take it home once you child has shared the pet. Pets cannot stay for the whole morning. You child can also share pictures of the pet if bringing the living pet is too difficult. This is usually a very exciting day for the students.
